​Founded in 2011 by Allison Seeley, Kate Newmeyer, Bailey Walton, Courtney Holder, and Laura Stockham, this club team is fairly new to Christopher Newport University. The first official season was Fall 2011 and since then we have proven ourselves to be a highly competitive club team with the potential to go far. The goal in forming this team was to provide students at CNU with the opportunity to continue to play the sport without the intense commitment level of Varsity.



We often compete against teams on the east coast nearby, but are planning to branch out as our team becomes more competitive. We generally take enough girls to build 2 teams (Blue and Silver). We practice as one group of girls and vote on teams before each tournament. Our goals are to be as competitive as possible, win as often as possible, give everyone a chance to play, and have fun. 



We have passion for the sport and that is evident in our game play. In our first year ever we won the very first tournament we entered at William & Mary and have continued to have success at other tournaments. We are so proud of our CNU Club Volleyball family and appreciate all the support from family and friends!
